Office Chic: How to Wear Palazzo Pants to Work

09:30:00

Happy Monday folks! How's you're day going so far? I've been battling with a slight under the weather feeling and work that seems to have piled upto the ceiling or maybe higher. However, I'm still super excited to share this week's edition of Office Chic. Since the weather's getting hotter by the day, its quite difficult to wear fitted trousers so palazzos are a welcome alternative. Today's post is all about styling your palazzos, which may be a part of your casual wardrobe as a workwear alternative to fitted trousers.

Look 1: Layered Comfort

The first look is all about power dressing for those meetings. I paired my mint palazzo pants with a cropped peplum and a cropped blazer. This look is perfect for transitioning from work meetings to drinks with friends. I added my transparent aviators and since the sun was beating down, pulled my hair back in a messy braid. This look is literally my go-to when it comes to workwear in Summer. I quite like the idea of wearing layers in summer since most offices have crazy air-con. Overall, a great look for corporates who need to power dress but still need to be weather friendly.

Look 2: Laid Back Corporate

The second look is much more simpler as compared to the first one. This is something that almost anyone can replicate from what they already have in their wardrobe. A crisp white shirt, paired with palazzos and a statement necklace. That's it. Simple, clean and repeatable. The colors in this look are perfect for people who need to dress well for work but still spend a considerable amount of time out in the sun. Yet again, I put my hair in a messy braid but you can easily convert it into a high bun and still look polished and put together.
